Hadith 4701 — Livre 42: Model Behavior of the Prophet (Kitab Al-Sunnah)

Rapporté par Abu Huraira رضي الله عنه : Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a dit : « Adam et Moïse ont eu une discussion. Moïse a dit : “Adam, tu es notre père. Tu nous as privés et tu nous as fait sortir du Paradis.” Adam a répondu : “Tu es Moïse, Allah t’a choisi pour Sa parole et a écrit la Torah pour toi de Sa propre main. Me reproches-tu une action qu’Allah avait déjà décidée pour moi quarante ans avant de me créer ?” Ainsi, Adam a eu le dessus sur Moïse dans la discussion. » Ahmad b. Salih a rapporté cela de ‘Amr, de Tawus, qui l’a entendu d’Abu Huraira

حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، - الْمَعْنَى - قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، سَمِعَ طَاوُسًا، يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، يُخْبِرُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " احْتَجَّ آدَمُ وَمُوسَى فَقَالَ مُوسَى يَا آدَمُ أَنْتَ أَبُونَا خَيَّبْتَنَا وَأَخْرَجْتَنَا مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ . فَقَالَ آدَمُ أَنْتَ مُوسَى اصْطَفَاكَ اللَّهُ بِكَلاَمِهِ وَخَطَّ لَكَ التَّوْرَاةَ بِيَدِهِ تَلُومُنِي عَلَى أَمْرٍ قَدَّرَهُ عَلَىَّ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَخْلُقَنِي بِأَرْبَعِينَ سَنَةً فَحَجَّ آدَمُ مُوسَى " . قَالَ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ عَنْ عَمْرٍو عَنْ طَاوُسٍ سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ .
Traduction anglaise
Abu Hurairah reported the Messenger of Allah (May peace be upon him) as saying :Adam and Moses held a disputation. Moses said : Adam you are our father. You deprived us and caused us to come out from Paradise. Adam said : You are Moses Allah chose you for his speech and wrote the Torah for you with his hand. Do you blame me for doing a deed which Allah had decreed that I should do forty year before he created me? So Adam got the better of Moses in argument. Ahmad b. Salih said from 'Amr from Tawus who heard Abu Hurairah

ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: آدم اور موسیٰ نے بحث کی تو موسیٰ نے کہا: اے آدم! آپ ہمارے باپ ہیں، آپ ہی نے ہمیں محرومی سے دو چار کیا، اور ہمیں جنت سے نکلوایا، آدم نے کہا: تم موسیٰ ہو تمہیں اللہ تعالیٰ نے اپنی گفتگو کے لیے چن لیا، اور تمہارے لیے تورات کو اپنے ہاتھ سے لکھا، تم مجھے ایسی بات پر ملامت کرتے ہو جسے اس نے میرے لیے مجھے پیدا کرنے سے چالیس سال پہلے ہی لکھ دیا تھا، پس آدم موسیٰ پر غالب آ گئے ۱؎۔
