Hadith 4700 — Livre 42: Model Behavior of the Prophet (Kitab Al-Sunnah)

Rapporté par Ubadah b. al-Samit رضي الله عنه, s’adressant à son fils : « Mon fils ! Tu ne goûteras pas à la réalité de la foi tant que tu ne sauras pas que ce qui t’est arrivé ne pouvait pas te manquer, et que ce qui t’a manqué ne pouvait pas t’arriver. J’ai entendu le Messager d’Allah ﷺ dire : “La première chose qu’Allah a créée, c’est la plume. Il lui a dit : ‘Écris.’ Elle a demandé : ‘Que dois-je écrire, Seigneur ?’ Il a dit : ‘Écris ce qui a été décrété pour toute chose jusqu’à la dernière Heure.’” Mon fils ! J’ai entendu le Messager d’Allah ﷺ dire : “Celui qui meurt en croyant autre chose que cela ne fait pas partie de moi.” »

حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُسَافِرٍ الْهُذَلِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَسَّانَ، حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ رَبَاحٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْلَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي حَفْصَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ عُبَادَةُ بْنُ الصَّامِتِ لاِبْنِهِ يَا بُنَىَّ إِنَّكَ لَنْ تَجِدَ طَعْمَ حَقِيقَةِ الإِيمَانِ حَتَّى تَعْلَمَ أَنَّ مَا أَصَابَكَ لَمْ يَكُنْ لِيُخْطِئَكَ وَمَا أَخْطَأَكَ لَمْ يَكُنْ لِيُصِيبَكَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ " إِنَّ أَوَّلَ مَا خَلَقَ اللَّهُ الْقَلَمَ فَقَالَ لَهُ اكْتُبْ . قَالَ رَبِّ وَمَاذَا أَكْتُبُ قَالَ اكْتُبْ مَقَادِيرَ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ حَتَّى تَقُومَ السَّاعَةُ " . يَا بُنَىَّ إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ " مَنْ مَاتَ عَلَى غَيْرِ هَذَا فَلَيْسَ مِنِّي " .
Traduction anglaise
Ubadah b. al Samit said to his son :Son! You will not get the taste of the reality of faith until you know that what has come to you could not miss you, and that what has missed you could not come to you. I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: The first thing Allah created was the pen. He said to it: Write. It asked: What should I write, my Lord? He said: Write what was decreed about everything till the Last Hour comes. Son! I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say : He who dies on something other than this does not belong to me
Traduction en ourdou
ابوحفصہ کہتے ہیں کہ عبادہ بن صامت رضی اللہ عنہ نے اپنے بیٹے سے کہا: اے میرے بیٹے! تم ایمان کی حقیقت کا مزہ ہرگز نہیں پا سکتے جب تک کہ تم یہ نہ جان لو کہ جو کچھ تمہیں ملا ہے وہ ایسا نہیں کہ نہ ملتا اور جو کچھ نہیں ملا ہے ایسا نہیں کہ وہ تمہیں مل جاتا، میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو فرماتے سنا ہے: سب سے پہلی چیز جسے اللہ تعالیٰ نے پیدا کیا، قلم ہے، اللہ تعالیٰ نے اس سے کہا: لکھ، قلم نے کہا: اے میرے رب! میں کیا لکھوں؟ اللہ تعالیٰ نے کہا: قیامت تک ہونے والی ساری چیزوں کی تقدیریں لکھ اے میرے بیٹے! میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو فرماتے سنا ہے: جو اس کے علاوہ ( کسی اور عقیدے ) پر مرا تو وہ مجھ سے نہیں ۔
