Le récit précédent a aussi été transmis par Ibn ‘Umar رضي الله عنه par une autre chaîne de transmetteurs avec le même sens. Cette version précise : Je crois qu’il a dit pour la cinquième fois : « S’il boit encore, tuez-le. » Abu Dawud a dit : De même, l’expression « une cinquième fois » se trouve dans la version d’Abu Ghutaif

حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ بِهَذَا الْمَعْنَى قَالَ وَأَحْسِبُهُ قَالَ فِي الْخَامِسَةِ " إِنْ شَرِبَهَا فَاقْتُلُوهُ " . قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ وَكَذَا فِي حَدِيثِ أَبِي غُطَيْفٍ فِي الْخَامِسَةِ .
Traduction anglaise
The tradition mentioned above has also been transmitted by Ibn ‘Umar through a different chain of narrators to the same effect. This version has :I think he said for the fifth time: If he drinks it, kill him. Abu Dawud said: And similarly the word “a fifth time” occurs in the tradition of Abu Ghutaif

عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ایسے ہی فرمایا ہے، اس میں یہ ہے کہ میرا خیال ہے کہ پانچویں بار میں فرمایا: پھر اگر وہ پئے تو اسے قتل کر دو ۔ ابوداؤد کہتے ہیں: اسی طرح ابوغطیف کی روایت میں پانچویں بار کا ذکر ہے۔
