Le récit précédent a aussi été transmis par Ibn al-Had par une autre chaîne de transmetteurs avec le même sens. Il a ajouté après le mot « frapper » : Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a alors dit à ses Compagnons : « Réprimandez-le. » Ils se sont tournés vers lui et ont dit : « Tu n’as pas respecté Allah, tu n’as pas eu de crainte envers Allah et tu n’as pas eu de honte devant le Messager d’Allah ﷺ. » Puis ils l’ont relâché. Certains ont aussi ajouté des paroles similaires

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ بْنِ أَبِي نَاجِيَةَ الإِسْكَنْدَرَانِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ، وَحَيْوَةُ بْنُ شُرَيْحٍ، وَابْنُ، لَهِيعَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ الْهَادِ، بِإِسْنَادِهِ وَمَعْنَاهُ قَالَ فِيهِ بَعْدَ الضَّرْبِ ثُمَّ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم لأَصْحَابِهِ " بَكِّتُوهُ " . فَأَقْبَلُوا عَلَيْهِ يَقُولُونَ مَا اتَّقَيْتَ اللَّهَ مَا خَشِيتَ اللَّهَ وَمَا اسْتَحَيْتَ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ثُمَّ أَرْسَلُوهُ وَقَالَ فِي آخِرِهِ " وَلَكِنْ قُولُوا اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْهُ " . وَبَعْضُهُمْ يَزِيدُ الْكَلِمَةَ وَنَحْوَهَا .
Traduction anglaise
The tradition mentioned above has also been transmitted by Ibn al- Had through a different chain of narrators to the same effect. He said after the word “beating”:The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) then said to his Companions: Reproach him, and they faced him and said: You have not respected Allah, you have not feared Allah and you have not shown shame before the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ). Then they released him. Some have also added similar words

ابن الہاد سے اسی سند سے اسی مفہوم کی روایت آئی ہے اس میں ہے کہ اسے مار چکنے کے بعد رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اپنے اصحاب سے فرمایا: تم لوگ اسے زبانی عار دلاؤ ، تو لوگ اس کی طرف یہ کہتے ہوئے متوجہ ہوئے: نہ تو تو اللہ سے ڈرا، نہ اس سے خوف کھایا نہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے شرمایا پھر لوگوں نے اسے چھوڑ دیا، اور اس کے آخر میں ہے: لیکن یوں کہو: اے اللہ اس کو بخش دے، اس پر ر حم فرما کچھ لوگوں نے اس سیاق میں کچھ کمی بیشی کی ہے۔
