Rapporté par Ibn 'Umar : En voyage, le Messager d’Allah ﷺ accomplissait la prière surérogatoire sur sa monture, peu importe sa direction ; il accomplissait aussi la prière du witr, mais il n’accomplissait pas les prières obligatoires sur sa monture

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يُسَبِّحُ عَلَى الرَّاحِلَةِ أَىَّ وَجْهٍ تَوَجَّهَ وَيُوتِرُ عَلَيْهَا غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ لاَ يُصَلِّي الْمَكْتُوبَةَ عَلَيْهَا .
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Ibn 'Umar:While travelling the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) would pray voluntary prayer on his riding beast in whatever direction it turned; and he would observe witr prayer, but he did not offer the obligatory prayers upon it
Traduction en ourdou
عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سواری پر نفل پڑھتے تھے، خواہ آپ کسی بھی طرف متوجہ ہوتے اور اسی پر وتر پڑھتے، البتہ اس پر فرض نماز نہیں پڑھتے تھے ۱؎۔
