Rapporté par Abu Hurairah رضي الله عنه : Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a dit : « Le temps deviendra court, la connaissance diminuera, des troubles (fitan) apparaîtront, l’avarice s’installera dans le cœur des gens, et le harj sera répandu. » On lui demanda : « Ô Messager d’Allah ! Qu’est-ce que le harj ? » Il répondit : « Le massacre, le massacre. »

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَنْبَسَةُ، حَدَّثَنِي يُونُسُ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي حُمَيْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " يَتَقَارَبُ الزَّمَانُ وَيَنْقُصُ الْعِلْمُ وَتَظْهَرُ الْفِتَنُ وَيُلْقَى الشُّحُّ وَيَكْثُرُ الْهَرْجُ " . قِيلَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَيَّةُ هُوَ قَالَ " الْقَتْلُ الْقَتْلُ " .
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Abu Hurairah :The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) as saying: The time will become short, knowledge will be decreased, civil strife (fitan) will appear, niggardliness will be case into people's heart, and harj will be prevalent. He was asked: Messenger of Allah! what is it: He replied: Slaughter, slaughter

ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: زمانہ سمٹ جائے گا، علم کم ہو جائے گا، فتنے رونما ہوں گے، لوگوں پر بخیلی ڈال دی جائے گی، اور «هرج» کثرت سے ہو گا آپ سے عرض کیا گیا: اللہ کے رسول! وہ کیا چیز ہے؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: قتل، قتل ۔
