Hadith 4197 — Livre 35: Combing the Hair (Kitab Al-Tarajjul)
كتاب الترجل
Rapporté par Anas ibn Malik رضي الله عنه : Al-Hajjaj ibn Hassan a dit : Nous sommes entrés chez Anas ibn Malik. Ma sœur al-Mughirah a dit : « Tu étais un garçon à cette époque et tu avais deux mèches de cheveux. » Il (Anas) t’a caressé la tête et a invoqué la bénédiction sur toi. Il a dit : « Rase-les (c’est-à-dire les mèches) ou coupe-les, car c’est la façon de faire des Juifs. »

حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، حَدَّثَنَا الْحَجَّاجُ بْنُ حَسَّانَ، قَالَ دَخَلْنَا عَلَى أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ فَحَدَّثَتْنِي أُخْتِي الْمُغِيرَةُ، قَالَتْ وَأَنْتَ يَوْمَئِذٍ غُلاَمٌ وَلَكَ قَرْنَانِ أَوْ قُصَّتَانِ فَمَسَحَ رَأْسَكَ وَبَرَّكَ عَلَيْكَ وَقَالَ " احْلِقُوا هَذَيْنِ أَوْ قُصُّوهُمَا فَإِنَّ هَذَا زِيُّ الْيَهُودِ " .
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Anas ibn Malik: Al-Hajjaj ibn Hassan said: We entered upon Anas ibn Malik. My sister al-Mughirah said: You were a boy in those days and you had two locks of hair. He (Anas) rubbed your head and invoked blessing on you. He said: Shave them (i.e. the locks) or clip them, for this is the fashion of the Jews

حجاج بن حسان کا بیان ہے ہم انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ کے پاس آئے، مجھ سے میری بہن مغیرہ نے بیان کیا: تو اس وقت لڑکا تھا اور تیرے سر پر دو چوٹیاں یا دو لٹیں تھیں تو انہوں نے تمہارے سر پر ہاتھ پھیرا اور برکت کی دعا کی اور کہا: ان دونوں کو مونڈوا ڈالو، یا انہیں کاٹ ڈالو کیونکہ یہ یہود کا طریقہ ہے۔
