Rapporté par Abu Huraira رضي الله عنه : Le Prophète ﷺ a dit : « Les caractéristiques naturelles de l’homme sont au nombre de cinq. » Une autre version dit : « Cinq choses font partie des caractéristiques naturelles de l’homme : la circoncision, le rasage des poils pubiens, l’épilation des aisselles, la coupe des ongles et la taille de la moustache. »

Texte arabe original
حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، يَبْلُغُ بِهِ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم " الْفِطْرَةُ خَمْسٌ أَوْ خَمْسٌ مِنَ الْفِطْرَةِ الْخِتَانُ وَالاِسْتِحْدَادُ وَنَتْفُ الإِبْطِ وَتَقْلِيمُ الأَظْفَارِ وَقَصُّ الشَّارِبِ " .
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Abu Hurairah:The Prophet (ﷺ) as saying: The inborn characteristics of man are five. Another version says: Five things are of the inborn characteristics of man: circumcision, shaving the pubes, plucking out hair under the armpit, paring the nails and clipping the moustaches

ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم فرمایا: پانچ چیزیں فطرت ہیں یا فطرت میں سے ہیں: ختنہ کرنا، زیر ناف کے بال مونڈنا، بغل کا بال اکھیڑنا، ناخن تراشنا اور مونچھ کاٹنا ۔
