Hadith 2673 — Livre 15: Jihad (Kitab Al-Jihad)
كتاب الجهاد
Rapporté par Hamzah al-Aslami رضي الله عنه : Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ l’a nommé chef d’un détachement. Il a dit : « Je suis parti avec eux. » Le Prophète ﷺ a dit : « Si tu trouves untel, brûle-le avec le feu. » Je me suis éloigné, puis il m’a rappelé. Je suis revenu vers lui et il a dit : « Si tu trouves untel, tue-le, mais ne le brûle pas, car seul le Seigneur du feu punit par le feu. »

حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مُغِيرَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْحِزَامِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَمْزَةَ الأَسْلَمِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَمَّرَهُ عَلَى سَرِيَّةٍ قَالَ فَخَرَجْتُ فِيهَا وَقَالَ " إِنْ وَجَدْتُمْ فُلاَنًا فَاحْرِقُوهُ بِالنَّارِ " . فَوَلَّيْتُ فَنَادَانِي فَرَجَعْتُ إِلَيْهِ فَقَالَ " إِنْ وَجَدْتُمْ فُلاَنًا فَاقْتُلُوهُ وَلاَ تُحْرِقُوهُ فَإِنَّهُ لاَ يُعَذِّبُ بِالنَّارِ إِلاَّ رَبُّ النَّارِ " .
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Hamzah al-Aslami: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) appointed him commander over a detachment. He said: I went out along with it. He (the Prophet) said: If you find so-and-so, burn him with the fire. I then turned away, and he called me. So I returned to him, and he said: If you find so-and-so, kill him, and do not burn him, for no one punishes with fire except the Lord of the fire
Traduction en ourdou
حمزہ اسلمی رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ان کو ایک سریہ کا امیر بنایا، میں اس سریہ میں نکلا، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: اگر فلاں کافر کو پانا تو اسے آگ میں جلا دینا ، جب میں پیٹھ موڑ کر چلا تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے مجھے پکارا، میں لوٹا تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: اگر اس کو پانا تو مار ڈالنا، جلانا نہیں، کیونکہ آگ کا عذاب صرف آگ کے رب کو سزاوار ہے ۱؎ ۔
