Rapporté par Jabir ibn Abdullah : Un jour, le Messager d’Allah ﷺ voulait partir en expédition. Il a dit : « Ô groupe des émigrés (Muhajirun) et des auxiliaires (Ansar), parmi vos frères, il y a des gens qui n’ont ni biens ni famille. Que chacun de vous prenne avec lui deux ou trois personnes. » Moi aussi, je montais à tour de rôle sur mon chameau, comme l’un d’eux

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ الأَنْبَارِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبِيدَةُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ، عَنِ الأَسْوَدِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ، عَنْ نُبَيْحٍ الْعَنَزِيِّ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنَّهُ أَرَادَ أَنْ يَغْزُوَ فَقَالَ : " يَا مَعْشَرَ الْمُهَاجِرِينَ وَالأَنْصَارِ، إِنَّ مِنْ إِخْوَانِكُمْ قَوْمًا لَيْسَ لَهُمْ مَالٌ وَلاَ عَشِيرَةٌ فَلْيَضُمَّ أَحَدُكُمْ إِلَيْهِ الرَّجُلَيْنِ أَوِ الثَّلاَثَةَ فَمَا لأَحَدِنَا مِنْ ظَهْرٍ يَحْمِلُهُ إِلاَّ عُقْبَةٌ كَعُقْبَةِ " . يَعْنِي أَحَدِهِمْ . فَضَمَمْتُ إِلَىَّ اثْنَيْنِ أَوْ ثَلاَثَةً، قَالَ : مَا لِي إِلاَّ عُقْبَةٌ كَعُقْبَةِ أَحَدِهِمْ مِنْ جَمَلِي .
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Jabir ibn Abdullah: Once the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) intended to go on an expedition. He said: O group of the emigrants (Muhajirun) and the helpers (Ansar), among your brethren there are people who have neither property nor family. So one of you should take with him two or three persons; with me. I also rode on my camel by turns like one of them
Traduction en ourdou
جابر بن عبداللہ رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے جہاد کا ارادہ کیا تو فرمایا: اے مہاجرین اور انصار کی جماعت! تمہارے بھائیوں میں سے کچھ لوگ ایسے ہیں جن کے پاس مال ہے نہ کنبہ، تو ہر ایک تم میں سے اپنے ساتھ دو یا تین آدمیوں کو شریک کر لے، تو ہم میں سے بعض کے پاس سواری نہیں ہوتی سوائے اس کے کہ وہ باری باری سوار ہوں ، تو میں نے اپنے ساتھ دو یا تین آدمیوں کو لے لیا، میں بھی صرف باری سے اپنے اونٹ پر سوار ہوتا تھا، جیسے وہ ہوتے تھے۔
