كتاب الصوم
Rapporté par Hudhayfah رضي الله عنه : Le Prophète ﷺ a dit : « Ne commencez pas le jeûne (du Ramadan) avant l’arrivée du mois, sauf si vous voyez la lune ou que vous ayez complété le compte (de trente jours) ; puis jeûnez jusqu’à ce que vous voyiez la lune ou que vous complétiez le compte (de trente jours). »

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ الْبَزَّازُ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ الضَّبِّيُّ، عَنْ مَنْصُورِ بْنِ الْمُعْتَمِرِ، عَنْ رِبْعِيِّ بْنِ حِرَاشٍ، عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " لاَ تُقَدِّمُوا الشَّهْرَ حَتَّى تَرَوُا الْهِلاَلَ أَوْ تُكْمِلُوا الْعِدَّةَ ثُمَّ صُومُوا حَتَّى تَرَوُا الْهِلاَلَ أَوْ تُكْمِلُوا الْعِدَّةَ " . قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ وَرَوَاهُ سُفْيَانُ وَغَيْرُهُ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ رِبْعِيٍّ عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم لَمْ يُسَمِّ حُذَيْفَةَ .
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Hudhayfah: The Prophet (ﷺ) said: Do not fast (for Ramadan) before the coming of the month until you sight the moon or complete the number (of thirty days); then fast until you sight the moon or complete the number (of thirty days)
Traduction en ourdou
حذیفہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: چاند دیکھے بغیر یا مہینے کی گنتی پوری کئے بغیر پہلے ہی روزے رکھنا شروع نہ کر دو، بلکہ چاند دیکھ کر یا گنتی پوری کر کے روزے رکھو ۔
