Hadith 2318 — Livre 14: Fasting (Kitab Al-Siyam)
كتاب الصوم
Rapporté par Abdullah ibn Abbas رضي الله عنه : « En expliquant le verset : “Pour ceux qui peuvent le faire avec difficulté, il y a une compensation : nourrir un pauvre”, il a dit : “C’était une facilité accordée à l’homme et à la femme âgés qui pouvaient jeûner, mais étaient autorisés à ne pas jeûner et à nourrir un pauvre pour chaque jour. C’était aussi une facilité pour la femme enceinte et celle qui allaite si elles craignaient pour elles-mêmes.” »

حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ عَزْرَةَ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، { وَعَلَى الَّذِينَ يُطِيقُونَهُ فِدْيَةٌ طَعَامُ مِسْكِينٍ } قَالَ كَانَتْ رُخْصَةً لِلشَّيْخِ الْكَبِيرِ وَالْمَرْأَةِ الْكَبِيرَةِ وَهُمَا يُطِيقَانِ الصِّيَامَ أَنْ يُفْطِرَا وَيُطْعِمَا مَكَانَ كُلِّ يَوْمٍ مِسْكِينًا وَالْحُبْلَى وَالْمُرْضِعُ إِذَا خَافَتَا - قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ يَعْنِي عَلَى أَوْلاَدِهِمَا - أَفْطَرَتَا وَأَطْعَمَتَا .
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Abdullah ibn Abbas: Explaining the verse; "For those who can do it (with hard-ship) is a ransom, the feeding of one, that is indigent," he said: This was a concession granted to the aged man and woman who were able to keep fast; they were allowed to leave the fast and instead feed an indigent person for each fast; (and a concession) to pregnant and suckling woman when they apprehended harm (to themselves)
Traduction en ourdou
عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ اللہ تعالیٰ کے فرمان: «وعلى الذين يطيقونه فدية طَعام مسكين» زیادہ بوڑھے مرد و عورت ( جو کہ روزے رکھنے کی طاقت رکھتے ہیں ) کے لیے رخصت ہے کہ روزے نہ رکھیں، بلکہ ہر دن کے بدلے ایک مسکین کو کھانا کھلا دیں، اور حاملہ نیز دودھ پلانے والی عورت بچے کے نقصان کا خوف کریں تو روزے نہ رکھیں، فدیہ دیں۔ ابوداؤد کہتے ہیں: یعنی مرضعہ اور حاملہ کو اپنے بچوں کے نقصان کا خوف ہو تو وہ بھی روزے نہ رکھیں اور ہر روزے کے بدلہ ایک مسکین کو کھانا کھلائیں۔
