Ce même récit a aussi été rapporté par Shu’bah par une autre chaîne de transmetteurs avec le même sens. Dans cette version, il a dit : « Fais connaître la trouvaille pendant un an. » Il a répété cela trois fois. Il a ajouté : « Je ne sais pas s’il a dit “pendant un an” ou “pendant trois ans”. »

حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، بِمَعْنَاهُ قَالَ " عَرِّفْهَا حَوْلاً " . وَقَالَ ثَلاَثَ مِرَارٍ قَالَ فَلاَ أَدْرِي قَالَ لَهُ ذَلِكَ فِي سَنَةٍ أَوْ فِي ثَلاَثِ سِنِينَ .
Traduction anglaise
The aforesaid tradition has also been transmitted by Shu’bah through a different chain of narrators to the same effect. The version goes :He said : Make it known for a year. He said this three times. He said: I do not know whether he said “for a year” or “for three years”

اس سند سے بھی شعبہ سے اسی مفہوم کی حدیث مروی ہے وہ کہتے ہیں: «عرفها حولا» تین بار کہا، البتہ مجھے یہ نہیں معلوم کہ آپ نے اسے ایک سال میں کرنے کے لیے کہا یا تین سال میں۔
