Rapporté par Al-Azdiyyah, c’est-à-dire Mussah : J’ai accompli le Hajj et je suis allée voir Umm Salamah. Je lui ai dit : « Mère des croyants, Samurah b. Jundub ordonne aux femmes de rattraper les prières manquées pendant leurs règles. » Elle a répondu : « Elles ne doivent pas le faire. Les épouses du Prophète ﷺ s’abstenaient de prier pendant quarante jours lors des saignements après l’accouchement, et le Prophète ﷺ ne leur demandait pas de rattraper les prières manquées pendant cette période. » Muhammad b. Hatim a dit : Le nom d’Al-Azdiyyah est Mussah et son surnom est Umm Busrah. Abu Dawud a dit : Le surnom de Kathir b. Ziyad est Abu Sahl

حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَاتِمٍ، - يَعْنِي حِبِّي - حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ كَثِيرِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَتْنِي الأَزْدِيَّةُ، - يَعْنِي مُسَّةَ - قَالَتْ حَجَجْتُ فَدَخَلْتُ عَلَى أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ فَقُلْتُ يَا أُمَّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ إِنَّ سَمُرَةَ بْنَ جُنْدُبٍ يَأْمُرُ النِّسَاءَ يَقْضِينَ صَلاَةَ الْمَحِيضِ . فَقَالَتْ لاَ يَقْضِينَ كَانَتِ الْمَرْأَةُ مِنْ نِسَاءِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم تَقْعُدُ فِي النِّفَاسِ أَرْبَعِينَ لَيْلَةً لاَ يَأْمُرُهَا النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِقَضَاءِ صَلاَةِ النِّفَاسِ . قَالَ مُحَمَّدٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ حَاتِمٍ وَاسْمُهَا مُسَّةُ تُكْنَى أُمَّ بُسَّةَ . قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ كَثِيرُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ كُنْيَتُهُ أَبُو سَهْلٍ .
Traduction anglaise
Al-Azdiyyah, viz. Mussah, said:I performed Hajj and came to Umm Salamah and said (to her): Mother of the believers, Samurah b. Jundub commands women to complete the prayers abandoned during their menstrual period. She said: They should not do so. The wives of the Prophet (ﷺ) would refrain (from prayer) for forty nights (i.e. days) during the course of bleeding after child birth. The Prophet (ﷺ) would not command them to complete the prayers abandoned during the period of bleeding. Muhammad b. Hatim said: The name of Al-Azdiyyah is Mussah and her patronymic name is Umm Busrah. Abu Dawud said: The patronymic names of Kathir b. Ziyad s Abu Sahl

مسہازدیہ (ام بسہ) سے روایت ہے کہ میں حج کو گئی تو ام المؤمنین ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہا کے ہاں حاضر ہوئی، میں نے ان سے کہا: اے ام المؤمنین! سمرہ بن جندب عورتوں کو حیض کی نمازیں قضاء کرنے کا حکم دیتے ہیں، اس پر انہوں نے کہا: وہ قضاء نہ کریں ( کیونکہ ) عورت جو نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی بیویوں میں سے ہوتی ۱؎ حالت نفاس میں چالیس دن تک بیٹھی رہتی تھی اور نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اسے نفاس کی نماز قضاء کرنے کا حکم نہیں دیتے تھے۔
