Hadith 634 — Livre 7: The Book of the Adhan (The Call to Prayer)
كتاب الأذان
Rapporté par Malik bin Al-Huwairith : Je suis venu voir le Prophète (ﷺ) avec un cousin à moi – une autre fois il a dit : « avec un compagnon à moi » – et il a dit : « Lorsque vous voyagez à deux, faites l’Adhan et l’Iqamah, et que le plus âgé d’entre vous dirige la prière. »

Texte arabe original
أَخْبَرَنَا حَاجِبُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ وَكِيعٍ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ خَالِدٍ الْحَذَّاءِ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلاَبَةَ، عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ الْحُوَيْرِثِ، قَالَ أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنَا وَابْنُ عَمٍّ لِي وَقَالَ مَرَّةً أُخْرَى أَنَا وَصَاحِبٌ لِي فَقَالَ " إِذَا سَافَرْتُمَا فَأَذِّنَا وَأَقِيمَا وَلْيَؤُمَّكُمَا أَكْبَرُكُمَا " .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated that Malik bin Al-Huwairith said:"I came to the Prophet (S.A.W) with a cousin of mine" - on an another occasion he said: "with a companion of mine" - "and he said: 'When the two of you travel, call the Adhan and the Iqamah, and let the older of you lead the prayer
Traduction en ourdou
مالک بن حویرث رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں اور میرے ایک چچا زاد بھائی دونوں نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس آئے ( دوسری بار انہوں نے کہا کہ میں اور میرے ایک ساتھی دونوں نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس آئے ) تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جب تم دونوں سفر کرو تو دونوں اذان کہو ۱؎ اور دونوں اقامت کہو، اور جو تم دونوں میں بڑا ہو وہ امامت کرے ۔
