Hadith 536 — Livre 6: The Book of the Times (of Prayer)
كتاب الأوقات
Rapporté par 'Aishah, la Mère des Croyants : Le Prophète (ﷺ) a retardé la prière une nuit jusqu’à ce que la majeure partie de la nuit soit passée et que les gens dans la mosquée soient rentrés dormir, puis il est sorti et a prié, et il a dit : « C’est vraiment son (meilleur) moment, si cela n’était pas trop difficile pour ma communauté. »

أَخْبَرَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ، قَالَ قَالَ ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ ح وَأَخْبَرَنِي يُوسُفُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي الْمُغِيرَةُ بْنُ حَكِيمٍ، عَنْ أُمِّ كُلْثُومٍ ابْنَةِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، أَنَّهَا أَخْبَرَتْهُ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أُمِّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ، قَالَتْ أَعْتَمَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم ذَاتَ لَيْلَةٍ حَتَّى ذَهَبَ عَامَّةُ اللَّيْلِ وَحَتَّى نَامَ أَهْلُ الْمَسْجِدِ ثُمَّ خَرَجَ فَصَلَّى وَقَالَ " إِنَّهُ لَوَقْتُهَا لَوْلاَ أَنْ أَشُقَّ عَلَى أُمَّتِي " .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated that 'Aishah the Mother of the Believers said:"The Prophet (ﷺ) delayed the prayer one night until most of the night had passed and the people in the Masjid had gone home to sleep, then he went out and prayed, and said: 'This is indeed its (prayer) time, were it not that I would impose too much difficulty on my Ummah
Traduction en ourdou
ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ ایک رات نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے عشاء میں تاخیر کی یہاں تک کہ رات کا بہت سا حصہ گزر گیا، اور مسجد کے لوگ سو گئے، پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نکلے اور نماز پڑھائی، اور فرمایا: یہی ( اس نماز کا پسندیدہ ) وقت ہے، اگر میں اپنی امت پر شاق نہ سمجھتا ( تو اسے اس کا حکم دیتا ) ۔
