Rapporté par Abu Huraira : Le Messager d'Allah ﷺ a dit : "S'il devient ivre, fouettez-le ; s'il devient ivre à nouveau, fouettez-le ; s'il devient encore ivre, fouettez-le." Puis, à propos de la quatrième fois, il a dit : "Frappez-lui le cou (c'est-à-dire tuez-le)

أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شَبَابَةُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ، عَنْ خَالِهِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " إِذَا سَكِرَ فَاجْلِدُوهُ ثُمَّ إِنْ سَكِرَ فَاجْلِدُوهُ ثُمَّ إِنْ سَكِرَ فَاجْلِدُوهُ " . ثُمَّ قَالَ فِي الرَّابِعَةِ " فَاضْرِبُوا عُنُقَهُ " .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that :The Messenger of Allah [SAW] said: "If he becomes drunk, whip him; then if he becomes drunk, whip him; then if he becomes drunk, whip him." Then he said concerning the fourth time, "Strike his neck (i.e., kill him)
