Rapporté par 'Aishah : Le Messager d’Allah partageait équitablement son temps entre ses épouses puis il disait : "Ô Allah, ceci est ce que j’ai pu faire concernant ce qui est en mon pouvoir, alors ne me reproche pas ce qui est en Ton pouvoir et pas dans le mien." أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلاَبَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقْسِمُ بَيْنَ نِسَائِهِ ثُمَّ يَعْدِلُ ثُمَّ يَقُولُ " اللَّهُمَّ هَذَا فِعْلِي فِيمَا أَمْلِكُ فَلاَ تَلُمْنِي فِيمَا تَمْلِكُ وَلاَ أَمْلِكُ " . أَرْسَلَهُ حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated that 'Aishah said:"The Messenger of Allah used to divide his time equally among his wives then he would say: 'O Allah, this is what I have done with regard to that over which I have control, so do not blame me for that over which You have control and I do not.'" Hammad bin Zaid narrated it in Mursal form

ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی الله عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اپنی بیویوں کے درمیان کچھ تقسیم کرتے تو برابر برابر کرتے، پھر فرماتے: اللہ! میرا یہ کام تو میرے دائرہ اختیار میں ہے، لہٰذا تو مجھے ملامت نہ کر ایسے کام کے سلسلے میں جو تیرے اختیار کا ہے اور مجھے اس میں کوئی اختیار نہیں۔ حماد بن زید نے یہ حدیث مرسل روایت کی ہے۔
