Rapporté par Abdur-Rahman bin Samurah : Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a dit : « Si tu fais un serment, offre une expiation pour ton serment, puis fais ce qui est meilleur. »

Texte arabe original
أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرُ بْنُ حَازِمٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ الْحَسَنَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ سَمُرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " إِذَا حَلَفْتَ عَلَى يَمِينٍ فَكَفِّرْ عَنْ يَمِينِكَ ثُمَّ ائْتِ الَّذِي هُوَ خَيْرٌ " .
Traduction anglaise
Abdur-Rahman bin Samurah said:"The Messenger of Allah said: 'If you swear an oath, offer expiation for your oath, then do that which is better
Traduction en ourdou
عبدالرحمٰن بن سمرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جب تم قسم کھاؤ تو اپنی قسم کا کفارہ ادا کرو پھر وہ کام کرو جو بہتر ہو ۔
