Rapporté par 'Abdur-Rahman bin Samurah : Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a dit : « Si l’un de vous fait un serment, puis voit quelque chose de meilleur, qu’il offre une expiation pour son serment, regarde ce qui est meilleur et le fasse. »

Texte arabe original
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الأَعْلَى، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " إِذَا حَلَفَ أَحَدُكُمْ عَلَى يَمِينٍ فَرَأَى غَيْرَهَا خَيْرًا مِنْهَا فَلْيُكَفِّرْ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَلْيَنْظُرِ الَّذِي هُوَ خَيْرٌ فَلْيَأْتِهِ " .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated from 'Abdur-Rahman bin Samurah that the Messenger of Allah said:"If any one of you swears an oath, then he sees something better than it, let him offer expiation for his oath, and look at what is better and do it
Traduction en ourdou
عبدالرحمٰن بن سمرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: تم میں سے جب کوئی قسم کھائے پھر اس کے سوا کو اس سے بہتر سمجھے تو چاہیئے کہ اپنی قسم کا کفارہ ادا کرے اور دیکھے کہ کون سی بات بہتر ہے تو وہی کرے ۔
