Hadith 3723 — Livre 34: The Book of 'Umra
كتاب العُمرى
Rapporté par Zaid bin Thabit : Le Messager d'Allah ﷺ a dit : « Celui qui fait un don à vie, cela appartient à celui à qui il l'a donné, aussi bien de son vivant qu'après sa mort. Et ne donnez pas de choses sous forme de Ruqba, car celui à qui on donne quelque chose sous forme de Ruqba, cela fait partie de son héritage. »

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبِي أَنَّهُ، عَرَضَ عَلَىَّ مَعْقِلٌ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ حُجْرٍ الْمَدَرِيِّ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " مَنْ أَعْمَرَ شَيْئًا فَهُوَ لِمُعْمَرِهِ مَحْيَاهُ وَمَمَاتَهُ وَلاَ تَرْقُبُوا فَمَنْ أَرْقَبَ شَيْئًا فَهُوَ لِسَبِيلِهِ " .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated that Zaid bin Thabit said:The Messenger of Allah said: "Whoever gives a life-long gift, it belongs to the one to whom he gave it, both during his life and after his death. And do not give things on the basis of Ruqba, for whoever is given something on the basis of Ruqba, it becomes part of his estate
Traduction en ourdou
زید بن ثابت رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”جس نے کوئی چیز ( صرف ) عمر بھر کے لیے دی تو وہ چیز جس کو دی ہے اس کی ہو جائے گی، اس کی زندگی میں بھی اور اس کے مر جانے کے بعد بھی ( رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ) رقبیٰ نہ کرو کیونکہ جس نے رقبیٰ کیا ہے ( وہ اسے نہ ملے گی ) وہ موہوب لہ کے راستہ ہی میں رہے گی“ ۱؎۔
