Hadith 3704 — Livre 32: The Book of Gifts
كتاب الهبة
Rapporté par Ibn Juraij, d'Al-Hasan bin Muslim, de Tawus : Le Messager d'Allah ﷺ a dit : « Il n'est pas permis à quelqu'un d'offrir un cadeau puis de le reprendre, sauf au père. » Tawus a dit : « J'entendais les garçons dire : “Toi qui retournes à ton vomi !” Mais je ne savais pas que le Messager d'Allah ﷺ avait donné cet exemple, jusqu'à ce que nous apprenions qu'il disait : “Celui qui donne un cadeau puis le reprend ressemble à un chien qui mange son vomi.” »

أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مَخْلَدٌ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " لاَ يَحِلُّ لأَحَدٍ يَهَبُ هِبَةً ثُمَّ يَعُودُ فِيهَا إِلاَّ الْوَالِدَ " . قَالَ طَاوُسٌ كُنْتُ أَسْمَعُ الصِّبْيَانَ يَقُولُونَ يَا عَائِدًا فِي قَيْئِهِ وَلَمْ أَشْعُرْ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ضَرَبَ ذَلِكَ مَثَلاً حَتَّى بَلَغَنَا أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُولُ " مَثَلُ الَّذِي يَهَبُ الْهِبَةَ ثُمَّ يَعُودُ فِيهَا " . وَذَكَرَ كَلِمَةً مَعْنَاهَا " كَمَثَلِ الْكَلْبِ يَأْكُلُ قَيْئَهُ " .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated from Ibn Juraij, from Al-Hasan bin Muslim, from Tawus that the Messenger of Allah said:"It is not permissible for anyone to give a gift then take it back, except a father." Tawus said: "I used to hear the boys say: 'O you who goes back to his vomit!' But I did not realize that the Messenger of Allah had said this as a parable, until we heard that he used to say: 'The likeness of the one who gives a gift then takes it back, is that of the dog which eats its vomit
Traduction en ourdou
تابعی طاؤس سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”کسی کے لیے جائز نہیں ہے کہ وہ کسی کو کوئی چیز ہبہ کرے پھر اسے واپس لے لے سوائے باپ کے“۔ طاؤس کہتے ہیں کہ میں بچوں کو کہتے ہوئے سنتا تھا «يا عائدا في قيئه» ! اے اپنی قے کے چاٹنے والے، اور نہیں جانتا تھا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اس کی مثال دی ہے یہاں تک کہ مجھے یہ حدیث پہنچی کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم فرماتے تھے: ”اس شخص کی مثال جو ہبہ دے کر واپس لے لیتا ہے“، اور راوی نے کچھ ایسی بات ذکر کی جس کے معنی یہ تھے کہ اس کی مثال کتے کی ہے جو اپنے قے کو کھا لیتا ہے۔
