كتاب الوصايا
Rapporté par Ibn 'Abbas, au sujet du verset : « En vérité, ceux qui dévorent injustement les biens des orphelins » : Un homme avait un orphelin à sa charge, et il gardait séparés sa nourriture, ses boissons et ses ustensiles. Cela a causé des difficultés aux musulmans, alors Allah, le Puissant et le Sublime, a révélé : « Et ils t'interrogent au sujet des orphelins. Dis : Le mieux est d'agir honnêtement avec leurs biens, et si vous mélangez vos affaires avec les leurs, alors ils sont vos frères » (dans la religion), donc il est permis de se mélanger à eux

أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عِمْرَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَطَاءُ بْنُ السَّائِبِ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، فِي قَوْلِهِ {إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَأْكُلُونَ أَمْوَالَ الْيَتَامَى ظُلْمًا} قَالَ كَانَ يَكُونُ فِي حِجْرِ الرَّجُلِ الْيَتِيمَ فَيَعْزِلُ لَهُ طَعَامَهُ وَشَرَابَهُ وَآنِيَتَهُ فَشَقَّ ذَلِكَ عَلَى الْمُسْلِمِينَ فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ {وَإِنْ تُخَالِطُوهُمْ فَإِخْوَانُكُمْ} {فِي الدِّينِ} فَأَحَلَّ لَهُمْ خُلْطَتَهُمْ.
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated that Ibn 'Abbas said -concerning the Verse:"Verily, those who unjustly eat up the property of orphans" -A man would have an orphan in his care, and he would keep his food, drink and vessels separate. This caused hardship to the Muslims, so Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, revealed: "And they ask you concerning orphans. Say: The best thing is to work honestly in their property, and if you mix your affairs with theirs, then they are your brothers" (in religion), so it is permissible for you to mix with them
Traduction en ourdou
عبداللہ بن عباس رضی الله عنہما آیت کریمہ: «إن الذين يأكلون أموال اليتامى ظلما» کے سلسلہ میں کہتے ہیں کہ جب یہ آیت اتری تو جس کی پرورش میں یتیم ہوتا تھا وہ اس کا کھانا پینا اور اس کا برتن الگ کر دیتا تھا لیکن یہ چیز مسلمانوں پر گراں گزری تو اللہ تعالیٰ نے آیت کریمہ: «وإن تخالطوهم فإخوانكم» ”اگر ان کو ملا کر رکھو تو وہ تمہارے بھائی ہیں“ ( البقرہ: ۲۲۰ ) نازل فرمائی اور یہ کہہ کر اللہ تعالیٰ نے انہیں اپنے ساتھ ملا لینے کو جائز قرار دے دیا۔
