كتاب الوصايا
Rapporté par Ibn 'Abbas : Sa'd a demandé au Prophète ﷺ : « Ma mère est morte et n'a pas laissé de testament ; puis-je donner une aumône pour elle ? » Il a dit : « Oui. »

أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عِيسَى، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ سَعْدًا، سَأَلَ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم إِنَّ أُمِّي مَاتَتْ وَلَمْ تُوصِ أَفَأَتَصَدَّقُ عَنْهَا قَالَ " نَعَمْ ".
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas that Sa'd asked the Prophet:"My mother died and did not leave a will; shall I give charity on her behalf?" He said: "Yes
Traduction en ourdou
عبداللہ بن عباس رضی الله عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ سعد رضی اللہ عنہ نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے پوچھا: میری ماں مر چکی ہیں اور کوئی وصیت نہیں کی ہیں، کیا میں ان کی طرف سے صدقہ کر دوں؟ آپ نے فرمایا: ”ہاں کر دو“۔
