كتاب الوصايا
Rapporté par 'Aïsha : « On dit que le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a fait un testament concernant 'Ali, رضي الله عنه. Mais il a demandé un récipient pour uriner, puis il s’est affaibli sans que je m’en rende compte. Alors, à qui aurait-il laissé un testament ? »

أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَزْهَرُ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا ابْنُ عَوْنٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنِ الأَسْوَدِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ يَقُولُونَ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَوْصَى إِلَى عَلِيٍّ رضى الله عنه لَقَدْ دَعَا بِالطَّسْتِ لِيَبُولَ فِيهَا فَانْخَنَثَتْ نَفْسُهُ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَمَا أَشْعُرُ فَإِلَى مَنْ أَوْصَى
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated that 'Aishah said:"They say that the Messenger of Allah made a will concerning 'Ali, may Allah be pleased with him. But he called for a vessel in which to urinate, then he went limp without me realizing it. So to whom did he leave a will?

ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی الله عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ لوگ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے علی رضی اللہ عنہ کو وصیت کی ( اس وقت آپ کی حالت اتنی خراب تھی کہ ) آپ نے پیشاب کرنے کے لیے طشت منگوایا کہ اتنے میں آپ کے اعضاء ڈھیلے پڑ گئے ( روح پرواز کر گئی ) اور میں نہ جان سکی تو آپ نے کس کو وصیت کی؟ ۱؎۔
