Rapporté par Anas رضي الله عنه : Le Prophète ﷺ a fait le serment de s'abstenir de ses femmes pendant un mois et il est resté dans sa chambre pendant vingt-neuf jours. On lui a dit : "Ô Messager d'Allah, n'avais-tu pas juré de t'abstenir pendant un mois ?" Il répondit : "Ce mois-ci compte vingt-neuf jours

Texte arabe original
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدٌ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ آلَى النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم مِنْ نِسَائِهِ شَهْرًا فِي مَشْرَبَةٍ لَهُ فَمَكَثَ تِسْعًا وَعِشْرِينَ لَيْلَةً ثُمَّ نَزَلَ فَقِيلَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَلَيْسَ آلَيْتَ عَلَى شَهْرٍ قَالَ " الشَّهْرُ تِسْعٌ وَعِشْرُونَ " .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated that Anas said:"The Prophet swore an oath of abstention from his wives for a month and stayed in his room for twenty-nine days. It was said: 'O Messenger of Allah, did you not swear an oath of abstention for a month?' He said: 'This month is twenty-nine days
Traduction en ourdou
انس رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اپنی بیویوں کے پاس ایک مہینے تک نہ جانے کا عہد کیا ( یعنی ایلاء کیا ) اور انتیس ( ۲۹ ) راتیں اپنے بالاخانے پر رہے پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اتر آئے، آپ سے کہا گیا: اللہ کے رسول! کیا آپ نے مہینہ بھر کا ایلاء نہیں کیا تھا؟ آپ نے فرمایا: ”مہینہ انتیس ( ۲۹ ) دن کا ( بھی ) ہوا کرتا ہے“۔
