Hadith 3375 — Livre 26: The Book of Marriage
كتاب النكاح
Rapporté par Ibn ‘Abbas : ‘Ali a dit : « Je me suis marié avec Fatimah, رضي الله عنها, et j’ai dit : “Ô Messager d’Allah, permets-moi de consommer le mariage.” Il a dit : “Donne-lui quelque chose.” J’ai dit : “Je n’ai rien.” Il a dit : “Où est ton armure Hutami ?” J’ai répondu : “Elle est avec moi.” Il a dit : “Donne-la-lui.” »

أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ عَلِيًّا، قَالَ تَزَوَّجْتُ فَاطِمَةَ رضى الله عنها فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ابْنِ بِي . قَالَ " أَعْطِهَا شَيْئًا " . قُلْتُ مَا عِنْدِي مِنْ شَىْءٍ . قَالَ " فَأَيْنَ دِرْعُكَ الْحُطَمِيَّةُ " . قُلْتُ هِيَ عِنْدِي . قَالَ " فَأَعْطِهَا إِيَّاهُ " .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas that 'Ali said:"I got married to Fatimah, may Allah be pleased with her, and I said: 'O Messenger of Allah, let me consummate the marriage.' He said: 'Give her something.' I said: 'I do not have anything.' He said: 'Where is your Hutami armor?' I said: 'It is with me.' He said: 'Give it to her
Traduction en ourdou
عبداللہ بن عباس رضی الله عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ علی رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا: میں نے فاطمہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے شادی کی تو میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے عرض کیا: مجھے ملنے کا موقع عنایت فرمائیے۔ آپ نے فرمایا: ”اسے کچھ ( تحفہ ) دو“، میں نے کہا: میرے پاس تو کچھ ہے نہیں، آپ نے فرمایا: ”تیری حطمی زرہ کہاں ہے؟“ میں نے کہا: یہ تو میرے پاس ہے، آپ نے فرمایا: ”وہی اسے دے دو“۔
