Hadith 3331 — Livre 26: The Book of Marriage
كتاب النكاح
Rapporté par Al-Bara' : J’ai rencontré mon oncle maternel qui portait un drapeau (pour une expédition) et j’ai demandé : « Où vas-tu ? » Il a répondu : « Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ m’envoie vers un homme qui a épousé la femme de son père après sa mort, pour lui trancher la tête ou le tuer. »

أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ حَكِيمٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ، عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ، قَالَ لَقِيتُ خَالِي وَمَعَهُ الرَّايَةُ فَقُلْتُ أَيْنَ تُرِيدُ قَالَ أَرْسَلَنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم إِلَى رَجُلٍ تَزَوَّجَ امْرَأَةَ أَبِيهِ مِنْ بَعْدِهِ أَنْ أَضْرِبَ عُنُقَهُ أَوْ أَقْتُلَهُ .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated that Al-Bara' said:"I met my maternal uncle who was carrying a flag (for an expedition) and I said: 'Where are you going?' He said: 'The Messenger of Allah is sending me to a man who has married his father's wife after he died, to strike his neck or kill him
Traduction en ourdou
براء رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں اپنے ماموں سے ملا، تو ان کے پاس جھنڈا تھا۔ تو میں نے اُن سے کہا: کہاں کا ارادہ ہے؟ کہا: رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے مجھے ایک ایسے شخص کی گردن اڑا دینے یا اسے قتل کر دینے کے لیے بھیجا ہے جس نے اپنے باپ کے انتقال کے بعد اس کی بیوی سے شادی کر لی ہے ۱؎۔
