Rapporté par 'Abdullah bin Buraidah : Il a été rapporté de 'Abdullah bin Buraidah que son père a dit : "Abu Bakr et 'Umar, رضي الله عنهما, ont demandé Fatimah en mariage mais le Messager d'Allah ﷺ a dit : 'Elle est jeune.' Puis 'Ali a demandé sa main et il la lui a donnée en mariage

أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ حُرَيْثٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ مُوسَى، عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ وَاقِدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ خَطَبَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرُ رضى الله عنهما فَاطِمَةَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " إِنَّهَا صَغِيرَةٌ " . فَخَطَبَهَا عَلِيٌّ فَزَوَّجَهَا مِنْهُ .
Traduction anglaise
Narrated 'Abdullah bin Buraidah:It was narrated from 'Abdullah bin Buraidah that his father said: "Abu Bakr and 'Umar, may Allah be pleased with them, proposed marriage to Fatimah but the Messenger of Allah said: 'She is young.' Then 'Ali proposed marriage to her and he married her to him
Traduction en ourdou
بریدہ رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ ابوبکر اور عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے ( نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو ) فاطمہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے نکاح کے لیے پیغام دیا تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”وہ چھوٹی ہے“، پھر علی رضی اللہ عنہ نے فاطمہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے اپنے لیے نکاح کا پیغام دیا تو آپ نے ان کا نکاح علی رضی اللہ عنہ سے کر دیا ۱؎۔
