كتاب الجهاد
Rapporté par Jabr : Il est entré avec le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) auprès de quelqu’un qui était mourant, et les femmes pleuraient. Jabr a dit : "Pleurez-vous alors que le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) est là ?" Il a dit : "Laissez-les pleurer tant qu’il est parmi elles, mais s’il meurt, personne ne doit pleurer pour lui

أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا دَاوُدُ، - يَعْنِي الطَّائِيَّ - عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ، عَنْ جَبْرٍ، أَنَّهُ دَخَلَ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَلَى مَيِّتٍ فَبَكَى النِّسَاءُ فَقَالَ جَبْرٌ أَتَبْكِينَ مَا دَامَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم جَالِسًا قَالَ " دَعْهُنَّ يَبْكِينَ مَا دَامَ بَيْنَهُنَّ فَإِذَا وَجَبَ فَلاَ تَبْكِيَنَّ بَاكِيَةٌ " .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated from Jabr that he entered with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) upon someone who was dying, and the women were weeping. Jabr said:"Are you weeping when the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) is sitting here?" He said: "Let them weep so long as he is among them, but if he dies no one should weep for him
Traduction en ourdou
جبر بن عتیک رضی الله عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ وہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ ایک میت کے یہاں پہنچے تو عورتیں رونے لگیں تو انہوں نے کہا: تم رو رہی ہو جب کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم یہاں بیٹھے ہوئے ہیں؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”چھوڑو انہیں رونے دو جب تک کہ وہ ان میں موجود ہے۔ پھر جب وہ انتقال کر جائے تو کوئی عورت ( چیخ چیخ کر ) نہ روئے“۔
