Hadith 3144 — Livre 25: The Book of Jihad
كتاب الجهاد
Rapporté par Shurahbil bin As-Simt : Il a dit à Ka’b bin Murrah : « Ô Ka’b ! Raconte-nous un hadith du Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) et fais attention. » Il a dit : « Je l’ai entendu dire : “Celui qui a un cheveu blanc dans l’Islam, dans la cause d’Allah, ce sera une lumière pour lui le Jour de la Résurrection.” » Il lui a dit : « Raconte-nous à propos du Prophète (ﷺ) et fais attention. » Il a dit : « Je l’ai entendu dire : “Tirez, et celui qui touche l’ennemi avec une flèche, Allah l’élèvera d’un degré.” » Ibn An-Nahhan a dit : « Ô Messager d’Allah, qu’est-ce qu’un degré ? » Il a dit : « Ce n’est pas comme le seuil de la porte de ta mère ; [1] la distance entre deux degrés est (telle que) cent ans. » [1] Comme expliqué ensuite ; le degré de distance est bien plus grand que ce que l’on connaît dans ce monde

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَلاَءِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الأَعْمَشُ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ، عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ، عَنْ شُرَحْبِيلَ بْنِ السِّمْطِ، قَالَ لِكَعْبِ بْنِ مُرَّةَ يَا كَعْبُ حَدِّثْنَا عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَاحْذَرْ . قَالَ سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ " مَنْ شَابَ شَيْبَةً فِي الإِسْلاَمِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ كَانَتْ لَهُ نُورًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ " . قَالَ لَهُ حَدِّثْنَا عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَاحْذَرْ . قَالَ سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ " ارْمُوا مَنْ بَلَغَ الْعَدُوَّ بِسَهْمٍ رَفَعَهُ اللَّهُ بِهِ دَرَجَةً " . قَالَ ابْنُ النَّحَّامِ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَمَا الدَّرَجَةُ قَالَ " أَمَا إِنَّهَا لَيْسَتْ بِعَتَبَةِ أُمِّكَ وَلَكِنْ مَا بَيْنَ الدَّرَجَتَيْنِ مِائَةُ عَامٍ " .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated that Shurahbil bin As-Simt said to Ka'b bin Murrah:"O Ka'b! Tell us a Hadith from the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and be careful." He said: "I heard him say: 'Whoever develops one gray hair in Islam, in the cause of Allah, it will be light for him on the Day of Resurrection.'" He said to him: "Tell us about the Prophet (ﷺ) and be careful." He said: "I heard him say: 'Shoot, and whoever hits the enemy with an arrow, Allah will raise him one degree in status thereby.'" Ibn An-Nahhan said: 'O Messenger of Allah, what is a degree?' He said: 'It is not like the doorstep of your mother; [1] rather (the distance) between two degrees is (that if) a hundred years.'" [1] As explained after it; the degree of distance is greater than such a degree in this world

شرحبیل بن سمط سے روایت ہے کہ انہوں نے کعب بن مرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے کہا: کعب! ہم سے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی کوئی حدیث بیان کیجئے، لیکن دیکھئیے اس میں کوئی کمی و بیشی اور فرق نہ ہونے پائے۔ انہوں نے کہا: میں نے آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے: ”جو مسلمان اسلام پر قائم رہتے ہوئے اللہ کے راستے میں بوڑھا ہوا تو قیامت کے دن یہی چیز اس کے لیے نور بن جائے گی“، انہوں نے ( پھر ) ان سے کہا: ہم سے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی ( کوئی اور ) حدیث بیان کیجئے، لیکن ( ڈر کر اور بچ کر ) بے کم و کاست ( سنائیے ) ۔ انہوں نے کہا: میں نے آپ کو فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے: ” ( دشمن کو ) تیر مارو، جس کا تیر دشمن کو لگ گیا تو اس کے سبب اللہ تعالیٰ اس کا ایک درجہ بلند فرمائے گا“، ( یہ سن کر ) ابن النحام نے کہا: اللہ کے رسول! وہ درجہ کیا ہے؟ آپ نے فرمایا: ” ( سن ) وہ تمہاری ماں کی چوکھٹ نہیں ہے ( جس کا فاصلہ بہت کم ہے ) بلکہ ایک درجہ سے لے کر دوسرے درجہ کے درمیان سو سال کی مسافت کا فاصلہ ہے“۔
