Hadith 2938 — Livre 24: The Book of Hajj
كتاب الحج
Rapporté par Hanzalah : J’ai vu Tawus passer devant l’angle (de la Kaaba). S’il voyait qu’il y avait du monde, il passait sans forcer. Et si c’était libre, il l’embrassait trois fois, puis il disait : « J’ai vu Ibn Abbas faire cela. Ibn Abbas disait : ‘J’ai vu Umar ibn Al-Khattab faire cela, puis il disait : Tu n’es qu’une pierre qui ne peut ni nuire ni profiter ; si je n’avais pas vu le Messager d’Allah t’embrasser, je ne t’aurais pas embrassée.’ » Puis Umar disait : « J’ai vu le Messager d’Allah faire cela. »

أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عُثْمَانَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ، عَنْ حَنْظَلَةَ، قَالَ رَأَيْتُ طَاوُسًا يَمُرُّ بِالرُّكْنِ فَإِنْ وَجَدَ عَلَيْهِ زِحَامًا مَرَّ وَلَمْ يُزَاحِمْ وَإِنْ رَآهُ خَالِيًا قَبَّلَهُ ثَلاَثًا ثُمَّ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ فَعَلَ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ وَقَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ رَأَيْتُ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ فَعَلَ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ ثُمَّ قَالَ إِنَّكَ حَجَرٌ لاَ تَنْفَعُ وَلاَ تَضُرُّ وَلَوْلاَ أَنِّي رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَبَّلَكَ مَا قَبَّلْتُكَ ثُمَّ قَالَ عُمَرُ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَعَلَ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated that Hanzalah said:"I saw tawus pass by the Corner. If he saw it crowded, he would pass by and he would not push his way in. And if he way it was free, he would kiss it three times, then he said: 'I saw Ibn Abbas doing that. Ibn Abbas said: 'I saw Umar bin Al-Khattab doing that, then he said: You are just a stone that can neither cause harm or bring benefit; were it not that I saw the Messenger ofAllah kissing you I would not have kissed you.' Then Umar said:b 'I saw the Messenger of Allah doing that

حنظلہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے طاؤس کو دیکھا وہ رکن ( یعنی حجر اسود ) سے گزرتے، اگر وہاں بھیڑ پاتے تو گزر جاتے کسی سے مزاحمت نہ کرتے، اور اگر خالی پاتے تو اسے تین بار بوسہ لیتے، پھر کہتے: میں نے ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما کو ایسا ہی کرتے دیکھا۔ اور ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں: میں نے عمر بن خطاب رضی اللہ عنہ کو دیکھا ہے انہوں نے اسی طرح کیا، پھر کہا: بلاشبہ تو پتھر ہے، تو نہ نفع پہنچا سکتا ہے نہ نقصان، اور اگر میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو تجھے بوسہ لیتے ہوئے نہ دیکھا ہوتا تو میں تجھے بوسہ نہ لیتا پھر عمر رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا: میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو اسی طرح کرتے دیکھا ہے۔
