كتاب الحج
Rapporté par Nafi : Ibn 'Umar voulait accomplir le Hajj l’année où Al-Hajjaj assiégeait Ibn Az-Zubair, et on lui a dit : « Il semble qu’il y aura des combats entre eux, et j’ai peur que tu sois empêché de faire le Hajj. » Il a répondu : « Vous avez dans le Messager d’Allah un bon exemple. Je vais faire ce que le Messager d’Allah a fait. Je vous prends à témoin que j’ai l’intention de faire la ‘Umrah. » Il est donc parti, et arrivé à Zahir Al-Baida, il a dit : « Le Hajj et la ‘Umrah sont la même chose ; je vous prends à témoin que j’ai l’intention de faire le Hajj avec ma ‘Umrah. » Il a amené un animal de sacrifice qu’il avait acheté à Qudaid. Puis il est parti et est entré en Ihram pour les deux à la fois. Arrivé à La Mecque, il a fait le Tawaf de la Maison et le Sa’i entre As-Safa et Al-Marwah. Il n’a rien fait de plus, n’a pas offert de sacrifice, ne s’est pas rasé ni coupé les cheveux ; il est resté en Ihram jusqu’au jour du sacrifice. Puis il a sacrifié son animal et s’est rasé la tête, pensant avoir accompli le Tawaf du Hajj et de la ‘Umrah lors du premier Tawaf. Ibn 'Umar a dit : « C’est ce que le Messager d’Allah a fait. »

أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، أَنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ، أَرَادَ الْحَجَّ عَامَ نَزَلَ الْحَجَّاجُ بِابْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ فَقِيلَ لَهُ إِنَّهُ كَائِنٌ بَيْنَهُمْ قِتَالٌ وَأَنَا أَخَافُ أَنْ يَصُدُّوكَ . قَالَ لَقَدْ كَانَ لَكُمْ فِي رَسُولِ اللَّهِ أُسْوَةٌ حَسَنَةٌ إِذًا أَصْنَعَ كَمَا صَنَعَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم إِنِّي أُ��ْهِدُكُمْ أَنِّي قَدْ أَوْجَبْتُ عُمْرَةً . ثُمَّ خَرَجَ حَتَّى إِذَا كَانَ بِظَاهِرِ الْبَيْدَاءِ قَالَ مَا شَأْنُ الْحَجِّ وَالْعُمْرَةِ إِلاَّ وَاحِدٌ أُشْهِدُكُمْ أَنِّي قَدْ أَوْجَبْتُ حَجًّا مَعَ عُمْرَتِي . وَأَهْدَى هَدْيًا اشْتَرَاهُ بِقُدَيْدٍ ثُمَّ انْطَلَقَ يُهِلُّ بِهِمَا جَمِيعًا حَتَّى قَدِمَ مَكَّةَ فَطَافَ بِالْبَيْتِ وَبِالصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ وَلَمْ يَزِدْ عَلَى ذَلِكَ وَلَمْ يَنْحَرْ وَلَمْ يَحْلِقْ وَلَمْ يُقَصِّرْ وَلَمْ يَحِلَّ مِنْ شَىْءٍ حَرُمَ مِنْهُ حَتَّى كَانَ يَوْمُ النَّحْرِ فَنَحَرَ وَحَلَقَ فَرَأَى أَنْ قَدْ قَضَى طَوَافَ الْحَجِّ وَالْعُمْرَةِ بِطَوَافِهِ الأَوَّلِ وَقَالَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ كَذَلِكَ فَعَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated from Nafi that:Ibn 'Umar wanted to perform Hajj in the year when Al-Hajjaj was besieging Ibn Az-Zubair, and it was said to him: "It seems that there will be fighting between them, and I am afraid that you will prevented from performing Hajj." He said: "In the messenger of Allah you have a good example. I am going to do what the Messenger of Allah did. I bear witness to you that I have resolved to perform 'Umrah." Then he set out, and when he was in Zahir Al-Baida, he said: "Hajj and Umrah are the same thing; I bear witness to you that I have resolved to perform Hajj with my 'Umrah." And he brought along a Hadi (sacrificial animal) that he had bought in Qudaid. Then he set out and entered Ihram for them both. When he came to Makkah he circumambulated the House and (did sa'i) between As-Safa and Al-Marwah. Then he did not do any thing more than that, and he did not offer a sacrifice, or shave his head, or cut his hair; he remained in Ihram until the Day of Sacrifice. Then he slaughtered his Hadi and shaved his head, and he thought that he had completed the Tawaf of Hajj and 'Umrah in the first Tawaf. Ibn 'Umar said: "That is what the Messenger of Allah did
Traduction en ourdou
نافع سے روایت ہے کہ جس سال حجاج بن یوسف نے عبداللہ بن زبیر رضی اللہ عنہما پر چڑھائی کی، ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے حج کا ارادہ کیا تو ان سے کہا گیا کہ ان کے درمیان جنگ ہونے والی ہے، مجھے ڈر ہے کہ وہ لوگ آپ کو ( حج سے ) روک دیں گے تو انہوں نے کہا: ( اللہ تعالیٰ فرماتا ہے ) تمہارے لیے اللہ کے رسول کی زندگی میں بہترین نمونہ ہے۔ اگر ایسی صورت حال پیش آئی تو میں ویسے ہی کروں گا جیسے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے کیا تھا ۱؎ میں تمہیں گواہ بنا کر کہتا ہوں کہ میں نے عمرہ واجب کر لیا ہے پھر چلے، جب بیداء کے پاس پہنچے تو کہا: حج و عمرہ دونوں تو ایک ہی ہیں، میں تم لوگوں کو گواہ بنا کر کہتا ہوں کہ میں نے عمرہ کے ساتھ حج بھی اپنے اوپر واجب کر لیا ہے، اور ہدی بھی ساتھ لے لی جسے قدید میں خریدا تھا پھر کچھ راستے دونوں ( حج و عمرہ ) کا تلبیہ پکارتے ہوئے چلے یہاں تک کہ مکہ آ گئے، تو بیت اللہ کا طواف کیا اور صفا و مروہ کی سعی کی اس سے زیادہ کچھ نہ کیا، نہ قربانی کی، نہ سر منڈایا، نہ بال کتروائے، اور نہ ان چیزوں سے حلال ہوئے جو اس کی وجہ سے ان پر حرام ہوئی تھیں یہاں تک کہ جب ذی الحجہ کی دسویں تاریخ آئی تو انہوں نے نحر کیا ( قربانی کیا ) سر منڈوایا اور یہ خیال کیا کہ پہلے ہی طواف سے حج و عمرہ دونوں کا طواف ہو گیا ہے۔ اور ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے کہا: رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ایسا ہی کیا تھا۔
