Hadith 2640 — Livre 24: The Book of Hajj
كتاب الحج
Rapporté par 'Abdullah bin 'Abbas رضي الله عنهما : Un homme a demandé au Prophète ﷺ : « L'ordre du Hajj est arrivé alors que mon père est un vieil homme qui ne peut pas rester assis sur sa monture ; si je l'attache, j'ai peur qu'il meure. Puis-je accomplir le Hajj à sa place ? » Il a dit : « Ne penses-tu pas que si ton père avait une dette et que tu la payais, ce serait suffisant ? » Il a répondu : « Oui. » Il a dit : « Alors accomplis le Hajj pour ton père. »

أَخْبَرَنَا مُجَاهِدُ بْنُ مُوسَى، عَنْ هُشَيْمٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ رَجُلاً، سَأَلَ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنَّ أَبِي أَدْرَكَهُ الْحَجُّ وَهُوَ شَيْخٌ كَبِيرٌ لاَ يَثْبُتُ عَلَى رَاحِلَتِهِ فَإِنْ شَدَدْتُهُ خَشِيتُ أَنْ يَمُوتَ أَفَأَحُجُّ عَنْهُ قَالَ " أَرَأَيْتَ لَوْ كَانَ عَلَيْهِ دَيْنٌ فَقَضَيْتَهُ أَكَانَ مُجْزِئًا " . قَالَ نَعَمْ . قَالَ " فَحُجَّ عَنْ أَبِيكَ " .
Traduction anglaise
(It was narrated from 'Abdullah bin 'Abbas that:a man asked the Prophet "The command of ) Hajj has come while my father is an old man and cannot sit firmly in his saddle; if I tie him (to the saddle) I fear that he will die. Can I perform Hajj on his behalf?" He said: "don't you think that if your father owed a debt and you paid it off, that would be good enough?" He said: "Yes." He said: "Then perform Hajj on behalf of your father

عبداللہ بن عباس رضی الله عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ ایک شخص نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے پوچھا: میرے باپ کو ( فریضہ ) حج نے اس حال میں پایا کہ وہ بہت بوڑھے ہو چکے ہیں اپنی سواری پر ٹک نہیں سکتے، اگر میں انہیں سواری پر بٹھا کر باندھ دوں تو ڈرتا ہوں کہ کہیں مر نہ جائیں۔ کیا میں ان کی طرف سے حج کر لوں؟ آپ نے فرمایا: ”تمہارا کیا خیال ہے اگر ان پر قرض ہوتا تو اسے ادا کرتے، تو وہ کافی ہو جاتا“؟ اس نے کہا: ہاں ( کافی ہو جاتا ) آپ نے فرمایا: ”پھر اپنے باپ کی طرف سے حج کرو“۔
