Hadith 2632 — Livre 24: The Book of Hajj
كتاب الحج
Rapporté par Ibn 'Abbas رضي الله عنهما : Une femme avait fait le vœu d'accomplir le Hajj mais elle est décédée. Son frère est venu demander au Prophète ﷺ à ce sujet. Il lui a dit : « Penses-tu que si ta sœur avait une dette, tu la paierais ? » Il a répondu : « Oui. » Il a dit : « Alors accomplis le droit d'Allah, car Allah est plus digne que l'on s'acquitte de Ses droits. »

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ أَبِي بِشْرٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ سَعِيدَ بْنَ جُبَيْرٍ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ امْرَأَةً، نَذَرَتْ أَنْ تَحُجَّ، فَمَاتَتْ فَأَتَى أَخُوهَا النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَسَأَلَهُ عَنْ ذَلِكَ فَقَالَ " أَرَأَيْتَ لَوْ كَانَ عَلَى أُخْتِكَ دَيْنٌ أَكُنْتَ قَاضِيَهُ " . قَالَ نَعَمْ . قَالَ " فَاقْضُوا اللَّهَ فَهُوَ أَحَقُّ بِالْوَفَاءِ " .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas that:a woman vowed to perform Hajj but she died. Her brother came to the Prophet and asked him about that, he said: 'Do yhou think that if your sister owed a debt you wouold pay it off?' He said: 'Yes.' He said: 'Then fulfill the right of Allah, for He is more deserving that His rights should be fulfilled
Traduction en ourdou
عبداللہ بن عباس رضی الله عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ ایک عورت نے حج کی نذر مانی، پھر ( حج کئے بغیر ) مر گئی، اس کا بھائی نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس آیا، اور آپ سے اس بارے میں مسئلہ پوچھا تو آپ فرمایا: ”بتاؤ اگر تمہاری بہن پر قرض ہوتا تو کیا تم ادا کرتے؟“ اس نے کہا: ہاں میں ادا کرتا، آپ نے فرمایا: ”تو اللہ کا قرض ادا کرو وہ تو اور بھی ادائیگی کا زیادہ مستحق ہے“۔
