كتاب الزكاة
Rapporté par 'Adiyy bin Hatim : Le Messager d'Allah a parlé du Feu, il a détourné son visage (comme s'il le voyait) et a demandé la protection d'Allah contre lui. (Un des rapporteurs) Shu'bah a dit : Il a fait cela trois fois, puis il a dit : "Protégez-vous du Feu, même avec la moitié d'une datte, et si vous ne trouvez pas cela, alors avec une bonne parole

أَنْبَأَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، أَنَّ عَمْرَو بْنَ مُرَّةَ، حَدَّثَهُمْ عَنْ خَيْثَمَةَ، عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ حَاتِمٍ، قَالَ ذَكَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم النَّارَ فَأَشَاحَ بِوَجْهِهِ وَتَعَوَّذَ مِنْهَا ذَكَرَ شُعْبَةُ أَنَّهُ فَعَلَهُ ثَلاَثَ مَرَّاتٍ - ثُمَّ قَالَ " اتَّقُوا النَّارَ وَلَوْ بِشِقِّ التَّمْرَةِ فَإِنْ لَمْ تَجِدُوا فَبِكَلِمَةٍ طَيِّبَةٍ " .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated that 'Adiyy bin Hatim said:"The Messenger of Allah mentioned the Fire, and he turned his face away (as if seeing it), and sought refuge with Allah from it." (One of the narrators) Shu'bah said: "He did that three times, then he said: 'Protect yourselves from the Fire even with half a date, and if you cannot find that, then with a good word
Traduction en ourdou
عدی بن حاتم رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے جہنم کا ذکر کیا، اور نفرت سے اپنا منہ پھیر لیا، اور اس سے پناہ مانگی۔ شعبہ نے ذکر کیا کہ آپ نے تین دفعہ ایسا کیا، پھر فرمایا: ”آگ سے بچو اگرچہ کھجور کا ایک ٹکڑا ہی اللہ کی راہ میں دے کر سہی۔ اور اگر اسے نہ پاس کو تو بھلی بات کے ذریعہ معذرت کر کے سہی“۔
