Rapporté par Abu Sa'eed Al-Khudri : À l’époque du Messager d’Allah, nous donnions un Sa' de dattes, ou un Sa' d’orge, ou un Sa' de fromage frais, et nous ne donnions rien d’autre

أَخْبَرَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ حَمَّادٍ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا اللَّيْثُ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ، أَنَّ عِيَاضَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيَّ قَالَ كُنَّا نُخْرِجُ فِي عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم صَاعًا مِنْ تَمْرٍ أَوْ صَاعًا مِنْ شَعِيرٍ أَوْ صَاعًا مِنْ أَقِطٍ لاَ نُخْرِجُ غَيْرَهُ .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated that Abu Sa'eed Al-Khudri said:"At the time of the Messenger of Allah we used to give a Sa' of dates, or a Sa' of barley, or a Sa' of cottage cheese, and we did not give anything else
Traduction en ourdou
ابو سعید خدری رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ ہم رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے زمانہ میں ( صدقہ فطر ) کھجور یا جو یا پنیر سے ایک صاع نکالتے تھے۔ اس کے علاوہ کچھ نہ نکالتے تھے۔
