Hadith 2320 — Livre 22: The Book of Fasting
كتاب الصيام
Rapporté par Muhammad bin Saifi : Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a dit le jour de ‘Ashura : « Est-ce que l’un d’entre vous a mangé aujourd’hui ? » Ils ont répondu : « Certains d’entre nous jeûnent et d’autres non. » Il a dit : « Ne mangez pas pour le reste de la journée, et envoyez un message aux gens d’Al-Arud pour leur dire de ne pas manger pour le reste de la journée. »

أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ يُونُسَ أَبُو حَصِينٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْثَرٌ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حُصَيْنٌ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ صَيْفِيٍّ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَوْمَ عَاشُورَاءَ " أَمِنْكُمْ أَحَدٌ أَكَلَ الْيَوْمَ " . فَقَالُوا مِنَّا مَنْ صَامَ وَمِنَّا مَنْ لَمْ يَصُمْ . قَالَ " فَأَتِمُّوا بَقِيَّةَ يَوْمِكُمْ وَابْعَثُوا إِلَى أَهْلِ الْعَرُوضِ فَلْيُتِمُّوا بَقِيَّةَ يَوْمِهِمْ " .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated that Muhammad bin Saifi said:"The Messenger of Allah said on the day of Ashura: Is there anyone among you who has eaten today?' They said: Some of us are fasting and some of us are not.' He said: 'Do not eat for the rest of the day, and send word to the people of Al-Al-Arud telling them not to eat for the rest of the day
Traduction en ourdou
محمد بن صیفی رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے عاشوراء کے دن فرمایا: ”کیا تم میں سے کسی نے آج کے دن کھایا ہے؟“ لوگوں نے کہا: ہم میں کچھ لوگ ایسے ہیں جن ہوں نے روزہ رکھا ہے، اور کچھ لوگوں نے نہیں رکھا ہے۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”اپنا باقی دن ( بغیر کھائے پیئے ) پورا کرو ۱؎، اہل عروض ۲؎ کو خبر کرا دو کہ وہ بھی اپنا باقی دن ( بغیر کھائے پئے ) پورا کریں“۔
