كتاب الصيام
Rapporté par Ayyub, d'après un cheikh de Qushair, d'après son oncle paternel ; puis nous l'avons rencontré à propos de certains de ses chameaux, et Abu Qilabah lui a dit : "Raconte-le-nous." Le vieil homme a dit : "Mon oncle paternel m'a dit qu'il était allé voir le Prophète ﷺ à propos de certains de ses chameaux, alors qu'il mangeait. Il a dit : 'Viens manger.' J'ai dit : 'Je jeûne.' Il a dit : 'Allah, le Puissant et le Sublime, a accordé la dispense de la moitié de la prière et du jeûne au voyageur, à la femme enceinte et au malade

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَاتِمٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حِبَّانُ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ شَيْخٍ، مِنْ قُشَيْرٍ عَنْ عَمِّهِ، حَدَّثَنَا ثُمَّ، أَلْفَيْنَاهُ فِي إِبِلٍ لَهُ فَقَالَ لَهُ أَبُو قِلاَبَةَ حَدِّثْهُ فَقَالَ الشَّيْخُ حَدَّثَنِي عَمِّي أَنَّهُ ذَهَبَ فِي إِبِلٍ لَهُ فَانْتَهَى إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَهُوَ يَأْكُلُ أَوْ قَالَ يَطْعَمُ فَقَالَ " ادْنُ فَكُلْ أَوْ قَالَ " ادْنُ فَاطْعَمْ " . فَقُلْتُ إِنِّي صَائِمٌ . فَقَالَ " إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وَضَعَ عَنِ الْمُسَافِرِ شَطْرَ الصَّلاَةِ وَالصِّيَامَ وَعَنِ الْحَامِلِ وَالْمُرْضِعِ " .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated from Ayyub, from a Shailh of Qushair, from his paternal uncle; then we met him concerning some camels of his, and Bu Qilabah said to him:"Tell it to us." The old man said: "My paternal uncle told me that he went to the Prophet, concerning some camels of his, while he was eating. He said: 'Come and eat.' I said: 'I am fasting.' He said: 'Allah, the mighty and sublime, has waived half of the prayer and fasting for the traveler, the pregnant woman and the sick

ایوب قبیلہ قشیر کے ایک شیخ سے، اور وہ قشیری اپنے چچا ۱؎ سے روایت کرتے ہیں، (ایوب کہتے ہیں) ہم سے حدیث بیان کی گئی، پھر ہم نے انہیں ( شیخ قشیری کو ) ان کے اونٹوں میں پایا، تو ان سے ابوقلابہ نے کہا: آپ ان سے ( ایوب سے ) حدیث بیان کیجئے تو ( قشیری ) شیخ نے کہا: مجھ سے میرے چچا نے بیان کیا کہ وہ اپنے اونٹوں میں گئے، اور نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس پہنچے، آپ کھانا کھا رہے تھے ( راوی کو شک ہے «یا ٔکل» کہا یا «یطعم» کہا ) آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”قریب آؤ اور کھانا کھاؤ“ ( راوی کو شک ہے «ادن فکل» کہا یا «ادن فاطعم» کہا ) تو میں نے کہا: «مںَ صائم» ہوں۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”اللہ تعالیٰ نے مسافر کو آدھی نماز اور روزے کی چھوٹ دے دی ہے، اور حاملہ عورت اور دودھ پلانے والی عورت کو بھی“ ۲؎۔
