Hadith 2128 — Livre 22: The Book of Fasting
كتاب الصيام
Rapporté par Ribi : Le Messager d’Allah a dit : « Quand vous voyez le croissant de lune, commencez le jeûne, et quand vous le voyez de nouveau, arrêtez le jeûne. S’il y a trop de nuages, alors complétez le mois de Chaabane à trente jours, sauf si vous voyez le croissant avant, alors jeûnez Ramadan pendant trente jours, sauf si vous voyez le nouveau croissant avant. »

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَاتِمٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حِبَّانُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، عَنِ الْحَجَّاجِ بْنِ أَرْطَاةَ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ رِبْعِيٍّ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " إِذَا رَأَيْتُمُ الْهِلاَلَ فَصُومُوا وَإِذَا رَأَيْتُمُوهُ فَأَفْطِرُوا فَإِنْ غُمَّ عَلَيْكُمْ فَأَتِمُّوا شَعْبَانَ ثَلاَثِينَ إِلاَّ أَنْ تَرَوُا الْهِلاَلَ قَبْلَ ذَلِكَ ثُمَّ صُومُوا رَمَضَانَ ثَلاَثِينَ إِلاَّ أَنْ تَرَوُا الْهِلاَلَ قَبْلَ ذَلِكَ " .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated that Ribi said; "the Messenger of Allah said:"The Messenger of Allah said: 'When you see the crescent then fast, and when you see it, then stop fasting. If it is too cloudy then complete Shaban as thirty days, unless you see the crescent before that, then fast Ramadan as thirty days, unless you see the new crescent before that
Traduction en ourdou
ربعی کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”جب تم ( رمضان کا ) چاند دیکھ لو تو روزہ رکھو، اور جب اسے ( عید الفطر کا چاند ) دیکھ لو تو روزہ بند کر دو، ( اور ) اگر تم پر بادل چھا جائیں تو شعبان کے تیس دن پورے کرو، مگر یہ کہ اس سے پہلے چاند دیکھ لو، پھر رمضان کے تیس روزے رکھو، مگر یہ کہ اس سے پہلے چاند دیکھ لو“۔
