Rapporté par ‘Upbah : Un jour, le Messager d’Allah ﷺ est sorti et a accompli la prière funéraire pour les gens d’Uhud, puis il est monté sur le minbar et a dit : « Je suis votre prédécesseur et je suis témoin sur vous. »

أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْخَيْرِ، عَنْ عُقْبَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم خَرَجَ يَوْمًا فَصَلَّى عَلَى أَهْلِ أُحُدٍ صَلاَتَهُ عَلَى الْمَيِّتِ ثُمَّ انْصَرَفَ إِلَى الْمِنْبَرِ فَقَالَ " إِنِّي فَرَطٌ لَكُمْ وَأَنَا شَهِيدٌ عَلَيْكُمْ " .

عقبہ رضی الله عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ ایک دن رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ( مدینہ سے باہر ) نکلے، اور غزوہ احد کے شہیدوں پر نماز ( جنازہ ) پڑھی ۱؎ جیسے میت کی نماز جنازہ پڑھتے تھے، پھر منبر کی طرف پلٹے اور فرمایا: ”میں ( قیامت میں ) تمہارا پیش رو ہوں، اور تم پر گواہ ( بھی ) ہوں“۔
