Rapporté par Abdullah bin Shaqiq : J’ai dit à ‘Aïsha : « Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) priait-il assis ? » Elle a répondu : « Oui, après que les gens l’aient fatigué. »

Texte arabe original
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الأَشْعَثِ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ زُرَيْعٍ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا الْجُرَيْرِيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ شَقِيقٍ، قَالَ قُلْتُ لِعَائِشَةَ هَلْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يُصَلِّي وَهُوَ قَاعِدٌ قَالَتْ نَعَمْ بَعْدَ مَا حَطَمَهُ النَّاسُ .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated that Abdullah bin Shaqiq said:"I said to Aishah: 'Did the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) pray sitting down?' She said: 'Yes, after the people had worn him out

عبداللہ بن شفیق کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے پوچھا: کیا رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم بیٹھ کر نماز پڑھتے تھے؟ تو انہوں نے کہا: ہاں، اس کے بعد کہ لوگوں نے آپ پر ذمہ داریوں کا بوجھ ڈال کر آپ کو کمزور کر دیا۔
