Rapporté par ‘Ata : J’ai entendu Ibn ‘Abbas dire : « Je témoigne avoir assisté à l’Aïd avec le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) ; il a commencé par la prière avant le prêche, puis il a prononcé le prêche. »

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَيُّوبَ، يُخْبِرُ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ، يَقُولُ أَشْهَدُ أَنِّي شَهِدْتُ الْعِيدَ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَبَدَأَ بِالصَّلاَةِ قَبْلَ الْخُطْبَةِ ثُمَّ خَطَبَ .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated that 'Ata said:"I heard Ibn 'Abbas say: 'I bear witness that I attended 'Eid with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ); he started with the prayer before the Khutbah, then he delivered the Khutbah

عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہم کہتے ہیں کہ میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ میں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ عید میں شریک رہا، تو آپ نے خطبہ سے پہلے نماز شروع کی، پھر آپ نے خطبہ دیا۔
