Rapporté par Abdullah bin 'Amr : Le soleil s’est éclipsé à l’époque du Messager d’Allah (ﷺ), alors il a ordonné qu’on fasse l’appel : "As-salatu jam’iah". Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) a dirigé la prière, en faisant deux inclinaisons et deux prosternations. Ensuite, il s’est relevé et a prié, en faisant deux inclinaisons et une prosternation. أَخْبَرَنِي مَحْمُودُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، عَنْ مَرْوَانَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ سَلاَّمٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، قَالَ خَسَفَتِ الشَّمْسُ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَأَمَرَ فَنُودِيَ الصَّلاَةُ جَامِعَةٌ فَصَلَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِالنَّاسِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَسَجْدَةً ثُمَّ قَامَ فَصَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَسَجْدَةً . قَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ مَا رَكَعْتُ رُكُوعًا قَطُّ وَلاَ سَجَدْتُ سُجُودًا قَطُّ كَانَ أَطْوَلَ مِنْهُ . خَالَفَهُ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حِمْيَرٍ .

It was narrated that Abdullah bin 'Amr said:"The sun was eclipsed during the time of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), so he issued orders that the call be given: 'As-salatu jam'iah. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) led the people in prayer, bowing twice and prostrating twice. Then he stood and prayed, bowing twice and prostrating once. Traduction en ourdou
عبداللہ بن عمرو رضی اللہ عنہم کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے زمانے میں سورج گرہن لگا، تو آپ نے ( نماز کا ) حکم دیا تو «الصلاة جامعة» ( نماز باجماعت پڑھی جائے گی ) کی منادی کرائی گئی، تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے لوگوں کو نماز پڑھائی ( پہلی رکعت میں ) آپ نے دو رکوع اور ایک سجدہ کیا ۱؎، پھر آپ کھڑے ہوئے، پھر آپ نے ( دوسری رکعت میں بھی ) دو رکوع اور ایک سجدہ کیا۔ ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں: میں نے کبھی اتنا لمبا رکوع نہیں کیا، اور نہ ہی کبھی اتنا لمبا سجدہ کیا۔ محمد بن حمیر نے مروان کی مخالفت کی ہے ۲؎۔
