Ad-Dahhak bin Qais a demandé à An-Nu'man bin Bashir : « Que récitait le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) le vendredi après la sourate Al-Jumu'ah ? » Il a répondu : « Il récitait : “T’est-il parvenue le récit de l’écrasante (c’est-à-dire le Jour de la Résurrection) ?” (Al-Ghashiyah). »

أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ ضَمْرَةَ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، أَنَّ الضَّحَّاكَ بْنَ قَيْسٍ، سَأَلَ النُّعْمَانَ بْنَ بَشِيرٍ مَاذَا كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقْرَأُ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ عَلَى إِثْرِ سُورَةِ الْجُمُعَةِ قَالَ كَانَ يَقْرَأُ { هَلْ أَتَاكَ حَدِيثُ الْغَاشِيَةِ } .
Traduction anglaise
Ad-Dahhak bin Qais asked An-Nu'man bin Bashir:"What did the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) use to recite on Friday after Surat Al-Jumu'ah?" He said: "He used to recite: 'Has there come to you the narration of the overwhelming (i.e. the Day of Resurrection)?'" (Al-Ghashiyah)

عبیداللہ بن عبداللہ سے روایت ہے کہ ضحاک بن قیس نے نعمان بن بشیر رضی اللہ عنہم سے پوچھا: رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم جمعہ کے دن سورۃ الجمعہ کے بعد کون سی سورۃ پڑھتے تھے؟ تو انہوں نے کہا: آپ «هل أتاك حديث الغاشية» پڑھتے تھے۔
