Rapporté par Zaid bin Thabit : Ils ont reçu l'ordre de dire le tasbih trente-trois fois après la prière, de dire le tahmid trente-trois fois, et de dire le takbir trente-quatre fois. Puis un homme parmi les Ansar a vu en rêve : "Le Messager d'Allah (ﷺ) vous a-t-il ordonné de dire le tasbih trente-trois fois après la prière, le tahmid trente-trois fois et le takbir trente-quatre fois ?" Il a répondu : "Oui." Il lui a été dit : "À la place, dis chacun vingt-cinq fois et ajoute le tahlil avec eux." أَخْبَرَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ حِزَامٍ التِّرْمِذِيُّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ، عَنِ ابْنِ إِدْرِيسَ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ حَسَّانَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ، عَنْ كَثِيرِ بْنِ أَفْلَحَ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ، قَالَ أُمِرُوا أَنْ يُسَبِّحُوا، دُبُرَ كُلِّ صَلاَةٍ ثَلاَثًا وَثَلاَثِينَ وَيَحْمَدُوا ثَلاَثًا وَثَلاَثِينَ وَيُكَبِّرُوا أَرْبَعًا وَثَلاَثِينَ فَأُتِيَ رَجُلٌ مِنَ الأَنْصَارِ فِي مَنَامِهِ فَقِيلَ لَهُ أَمَرَكُمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنْ تُسَبِّحُوا دُبُرَ كُلِّ صَلاَةٍ ثَلاَثًا وَثَلاَثِينَ وَتَحْمَدُوا ثَلاَثًا وَثَلاَثِينَ وَتُكَبِّرُوا أَرْبَعًا وَثَلاَثِينَ قَالَ نَعَمْ . قَالَ فَاجْعَلُوهَا خَمْسًا وَعِشْرِينَ وَاجْعَلُوا فِيهَا التَّهْلِيلَ فَلَمَّا أَصْبَحَ أَتَى النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَذَكَرَ ذَلِكَ لَهُ فَقَالَ " اجْعَلُوهَا كَذَلِكَ " .

It was narrated that Zaid bin Thabit said:"They were commanded to say the tasbih thirty-three times following the prayer, and to say the tahmid thirty-three times, and to say the takbir thirty-four times, then a man from among the Ansar was told in a dream: 'Did the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) command you to say the tasbih thirty-three times following the prayer, and to say the tahmid thirty-three times, and to say the takbir thirty-four times?' He said: 'Yes.' 'Instead of that, say each one twenty-five times, and include the tahlil among them.' زید بن ثابت رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ لوگوں کو حکم دیا گیا کہ وہ ہر نماز کے بعد تینتیس بار «سبحان اللہ» تینتیس بار «الحمد لله» اور چونتیس بار «اللہ أکبر» کہیں، پھر ایک انصاری شخص سے اس کے خواب میں پوچھا گیا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے تمہیں ہر نماز کے بعد تینتیس بار «سبحان اللہ»تینتیس بار «الحمد لله» اور چونتیس بار «اللہ أکبر» کہنے کا حکم دیا ہے؟ اس نے کہا: ہاں، تو پوچھنے والے نے کہا: تم انہیں پچیس، پچیس بار کر لو، اور باقی پچیس کی جگہ «لا الٰہ إلا اللہ» کہا کرو، تو جب صبح ہوئی تو وہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس آئے، اور آپ سے سارا واقعہ بیان کیا، تو آپ نے فرمایا: اسے اسی طرح کر لو ۔
