Rapporté par Aïcha رضي الله عنها : J’ai remarqué que le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) n’était pas là une nuit, et j’ai pensé qu’il était parti chez une de ses autres épouses. J’ai cherché à le toucher, et je l’ai trouvé en inclinaison ou en prosternation, disant : "SubhanakAllahumma wa bihamdika la ilaha ila ant" ("Gloire et louange à Toi, ô Allah, il n’y a pas de divinité en dehors de Toi"). أَخْبَرَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْمِصِّيصِيُّ الْمِقْسَمِيُّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ فَقَدْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ذَاتَ لَيْلَةٍ فَظَنَنْتُ أَنَّهُ ذَهَبَ إِلَى بَعْضِ نِسَائِهِ فَتَحَسَّسْتُهُ فَإِذَا هُوَ رَاكِعٌ أَوْ سَاجِدٌ يَقُولُ " سُبْحَانَكَ اللَّهُمَّ وَبِحَمْدِكَ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ " . فَقُلْتُ بِأَبِي أَنْتَ وَأُمِّي إِنِّي لَفِي شَأْنٍ وَإِنَّكَ لَفِي آخَرَ .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated that 'Aishah said:"I noticed that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was missing one night, and I thought he had gone to one of his other wives. I tried to feel for him, and I found him bowing or prostrating and saying: 'SubhanakAllahumma wa bihamdika la ilaha ila ant (Glory and praise be to You, O Allah, there is none worthy of worship but You.)'" She said: "May my father and mother be ransomed for you. I thought you were doing one thing and you were doing something else altogether

ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو ایک رات ( بستر پر ) موجود نہیں پایا، تو میں نے گمان کیا کہ آپ اپنی کسی دوسری بیوی کے پاس چلے گئے ہیں، پھر میں نے آپ کو تلاش کیا تو اچانک کیا دیکھتی ہوں کہ آپ رکوع یا سجدہ کی حالت میں کہہ رہے ہیں: «سبحانك اللہم وبحمدك لا إله إلا أنت» اے اللہ! تو پاک ہے، میں تیری تعریف کے ساتھ تیری تسبیح بیان کرتا ہوں، نہیں ہے کوئی معبود برحق مگر تو ہی ، تو وہ کہنے لگیں: میرے ماں باپ آپ پر فدا ہوں! میں کس خیال میں تھی اور آپ کس حال میں ہیں۔
