Rapporté par Alqamah bin Wa'il : Mon père m’a dit : « J’ai prié derrière le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) et je l’ai vu lever les mains au début de la prière, puis en s’inclinant, et quand il disait : Sami' Allahu liman hamidah (Allah entend celui qui Le loue), comme ceci. » Et (l’un des rapporteurs), Qais, a montré ses mains vers ses oreilles

أَخْبَرَنَا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ سُلَيْمٍ الْعَنْبَرِيِّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَلْقَمَةُ بْنُ وَائِلٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي قَالَ، صَلَّيْتُ خَلْفَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَرَأَيْتُهُ يَرْفَعُ يَدَيْهِ إِذَا افْتَتَحَ الصَّلاَةَ وَإِذَا رَكَعَ وَإِذَا قَالَ " سَمِعَ اللَّهُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَهُ " . هَكَذَا وَأَشَارَ قَيْسٌ إِلَى نَحْوِ الأُذُنَيْنِ .
Traduction anglaise
Alqamah bin Wa'il said:"My father told me: 'I prayed behind the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and I saw him raise his hands when he started to pray, and when he bowed, and when he said: Sami' Allahu liman hamidah (Allah hears the one who praises Him)" like this.'" And (one of the narrators) Qais pointed towards his ears
Traduction en ourdou
وائل بن حجر رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پیچھے نماز پڑھی، تو دیکھا کہ جب آپ نماز شروع کرتے تو رفع یدین کرتے، اور جب رکوع کرتے، اور «سمع اللہ لمن حمده» کہتے تو بھی اسی طرح کرتے۔ قیس بن سلیم ( راوی حدیث ) نے دونوں کانوں تک اشارہ کر کے دکھایا۔
