Hadith 998 — Livre 11: The Book of the Commencement of the Prayer
كتاب افتتاح الصلاة
Rapporté par Jabir : Mu’adh bin Jabal a dirigé ses compagnons dans la prière de l’isha et il l’a rendue longue. Un homme est parti, et on l’a rapporté à Mu’adh, qui a dit : « C’est un hypocrite. » Quand l’homme a appris cela, il est allé voir le Prophète (ﷺ) et lui a raconté ce que Mu’adh avait dit. Le Prophète (ﷺ) lui a dit : « Veux-tu être une cause de difficulté, ô Mu’adh ? Quand tu diriges les gens dans la prière, récite “Par le soleil et sa clarté”, “Glorifie le nom de ton Seigneur, le Très-Haut”, “Par la nuit quand elle enveloppe” et “Lis ! Au nom de ton Seigneur”. »

أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ صَلَّى مُعَاذُ بْنُ جَبَلٍ لأَصْحَابِهِ الْعِشَاءَ فَطَوَّلَ عَلَيْهِمْ فَانْصَرَفَ رَجُلٌ مِنَّا فَأُخْبِرَ مُعَاذٌ عَنْهُ فَقَالَ إِنَّهُ مُنَافِقٌ . فَلَمَّا بَلَغَ ذَلِكَ الرَّجُلَ دَخَلَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَأَخْبَرَهُ بِمَا قَالَ مُعَاذٌ . فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم " أَتُرِيدُ أَنْ تَكُونَ فَتَّانًا يَا مُعَاذُ إِذَا أَمَمْتَ النَّاسَ فَاقْرَأْ بِالشَّمْسِ وَضُحَاهَا وَ { سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الأَعْلَى } وَ { وَاللَّيْلِ إِذَا يَغْشَى } وَ { اقْرَأْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ } " .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated that Jabir said:"Mu'adh bin Jabal led his companions in praying Isha' and he made it lengthy. A man left, and Mu'adh was told about that, and he said: 'He is a hypocrite.' When news of that reached the man, he went to the Prophet (ﷺ) and told him what Mu'adh had said. The Prophet (ﷺ) said to him: 'Do you want to be a cause of hardship, O Mu'adh? When you lead the people in prayer, recite 'By the sun and its brightness' and 'Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High' and 'By the night as it envelops'and 'Read! In the Name of your Lord

جابر رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ معاذ بن جبل رضی اللہ عنہ نے اپنے اصحاب کو عشاء پڑھائی تو انہوں نے قرأت ان پر طویل کر دی، تو ہم میں سے ایک شخص نے نماز توڑ دی ( اور الگ نماز پڑھ لی ) معاذ رضی اللہ عنہ کو اس کے متعلق بتایا گیا تو انہوں نے کہا: وہ منافق ہے، جب یہ بات اس شخص کو معلوم ہوئی، تو وہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس آیا، اور معاذ رضی اللہ عنہ نے جو کچھ کہا تھا آپ کو اس کی خبر دی، تو نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ان سے فرمایا: معاذ! کیا تم فتنہ بپا کرنا چاہتے ہو؟ جب تم لوگوں کی امامت کرو تو «والشمس وضحاها»، «سبح اسم ربك الأعلى»، «والليل إذا يغشى» اور «اقرأ باسم ربك» پڑھا کرو ۔
