Rapporté par Abu Hurairah : Je n’ai jamais prié derrière quelqu’un dont la prière ressemblait autant à celle du Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) que celle d’untel. Nous avons prié derrière cette personne et il allongeait les deux premières unités du zuhr et raccourcissait les deux dernières, et il faisait l’asr plus courte ; au maghrib il récitait les courtes sourates Mufassal. À l’isha, il récitait : « Par le soleil et sa clarté » et des sourates similaires, et au subh il récitait deux longues sourates

أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، عَنِ الضَّحَّاكِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ، عَنْ بُكَيْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الأَشَجِّ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ مَا صَلَّيْتُ وَرَاءَ أَحَدٍ أَشْبَهَ صَلاَةً بِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم مِنْ فُلاَنٍ . فَصَلَّيْنَا وَرَاءَ ذَلِكَ الإِنْسَانِ وَكَانَ يُطِيلُ الأُولَيَيْنِ مِنَ الظُّهْرِ وَيُخَفِّفُ فِي الأُخْرَيَيْنِ وَيُخَفِّفُ فِي الْعَصْرِ وَيَقْرَأُ فِي الْمَغْرِبِ بِقِصَارِ الْمُفَصَّلِ وَيَقْرَأُ فِي الْعِشَاءِ بِالشَّمْسِ وَضُحَاهَا وَأَشْبَاهِهَا وَيَقْرَأُ فِي الصُّبْحِ بِسُورَتَيْنِ طَوِيلَتَيْنِ .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said:"I have never prayed behind anyone whose prayer more closely resembled that of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) than so-and-so. We prayed behind that person and he used to make the first two rak'ahs of Zuhr lengthy and the last two shorter, and he would make 'Asr shorter; in Maghrib he would recite the short Mufassal surahs. In Isha' he recited: 'By the sun and its brightness and similar surahs, and in subh he recited two lengthy surahs
Traduction en ourdou
ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے فلاں سے بڑھ کر کسی کے پیچھے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی نماز سے مشابہ نماز نہیں پڑھی ( سلیمان کہتے ہیں ) ہم نے اس شخص کے پیچھے نماز پڑھی، وہ ظہر کی پہلی دونوں رکعتیں لمبی کرتے تھے، اور آخری دونوں ( رکعتیں ) ہلکی کرتے، اور عصر بھی ہلکی کرتے، اور مغرب میں قصار مفصل پڑھتے، اور عشاء میں «والشمس وضحاها» اور اسی طرح کی سورتیں پڑھتے، اور فجر میں دو لمبی دو سورتیں پڑھتے۔
